The Old Guard Fife and Drum Corps is the only unit of its kind in the armed forces, and is part of the 3rd U.S. Infantry. The Fife and Drum Corp is stationed at Fort Myer, Virginia. The Old Guard is the U.S. Army's ceremonial unit that mounts guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Arlington National Cemetery. It also provides for military burials.
